Today is our first sea day aboard the Carnival Jubilee. So you might ask..what is there to do on an Excel class ship on a sea day? Well, there is as much or as little as you want to do, but in today's vlog you get to see a relaxing sea day with a little bit of fun mixed into it!
We start off the day with a delicious breakfast at Emeril's 717. Then we digest our breakfast by relaxing at Summer Landing before going to the Wave show with Kyndall Fire.
The rest of the morning/afternoon we pretty much laid low until we got ready for the elegant night festivities!

How bad is the galley above the room?
That hotel on pier 21 is stupid expensive for what it is, but man what a location. We've stayed twice so gotten the experience, next time around going for something more reasonable. So fun to wake up in early and watch the ships come in, then just walk to the port. Willie G's next door is a great restaurant! Some of the best shrimp I've ever eaten in my life. Can't wait till January!

My question might be stupid but is the vista going to be an ultra cruise for a couple months or does it switch occasionally
Totally not a stupid question. I honestly don't have an answer for that. That is all based by the casino for these events, so I would say if you were interested in an Ultra cruise, contact the Casino department at Carnival and hopefully they would be able to help you. Thanks for watching!

Great video, did u Uber to the hotel before the cruise? Are there shuttles to Houston airport from Galveston? Is that side of the gulf muddy looking? Thanks for sharing
We did not use Uber, but the wonderful Fenwicks took us all around the area and to our hotel 💗 They are amazing people! And yes, the Gulf wasn't the prettiest water that I ever seen..but according to Favor it was actually clearer than normal when we were there. lol Thanks for watching!
There are surprisingly few transportation options to Galveston when you consider how many are cruising, but I chalk that up to so many folks that actually drive in. This will be my fourth from there and recommend Uber as the easiest and cheapest option. We did Galveston Express once years ago and it happened to work out fine, but when you read the reviews, it looks like your odds are about 50/50 and while there are good reviews, the bad ones are REALLY bad.

You are lucky, last cruise someone pulled the fire alarm in the Miami terminal so we could not get off until 10:30. Do they weight everyone for the sky ride?I am afraid right now I can’t make weight.
Oh Geez.... that's no fun! As for the sky ride, they did not weigh us, but there is a weight limit of 250 lbs per person, but I don't think they weighed us.

Thank you love the video of Grand turk. It confirmed to me that I need to stay at the cruise port do to all the loose dogs that are around as I travel with a guide dog and do not want her to be distracted.
Thank you for watching, just be aware that there are usually loose dogs on the beach even by the cruise port. Especially down the beach a little. They are everywhere on the island unfortunately 😢
Totally understand, but like Dave said unfortunately there are usually stray dogs on most of the islands outside of the port area. It's sad :(
About how long were you out on the golf cart? Trying to plan my trip in September. We come in at 11 and leave at 6. So not a huge amount of time

how far is the light house for the port?
About 6 miles, so in the golf cart it took about 20ish minutes. And in case you want to know...the roads are good 👍🤣

This ship has one of the largest comedy venues in the have ever seen on a ship. With that said, I dislike how Carnival puts the two most popular places to eat ( Guys Big Bite, Blue Iguana Cantina) on the pool deck which is always extremely crowded. It’s even an hassle to get drinks sometimes and there are two bars. Thanks for showing the deck plans during the tour.
